You must be already resident in London since 1 year at least.

This a PART TIME JOB only.

This is a LONG TERM CONTRACT, so if you are looking for a temporary job, this vacancy doesn't fit.


We can offer average of 16 hours per week, mostly on Monday evening, Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening.

We require full flexibility along the week, so available to potentially work up to 16/20 ours any day of the week, evening only.

This is NOT A MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9-TO 5 JOB.

The job starts at 5pm and finishes around 10.30/11 pm

If you are a student and can work only in specific days, unfortunately this job doesn't fit.


THE JOB INCLUDES WASHING PLATES, GLASSES, FLOORS, CLEANING AREAS, KITCHEN AND IN ADDITION PREPARING FOOD.

SO, IS MANDATORY TO BE ABLE AND HAPPY TO CUT VEGETABLES, MEAT, PREPARE FOOD FOR COOKING WHEN REQUESTED.

Requirements of Kitchen Porter

  • Previous experience in Kitchen environment
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Flexible with tasks and working hours

Responsibilities of Kitchen Porter

  • Being able to work in fast paced environment
  • Supporting chefs and head chef in keeping the kitchen clean and safe at all times
  • Able to jump during shifts from food prep to dish washing duties
  • Ensuring to have extensive knowledge on food spec
  • Able to communicate any food issues to the Chef on duty
  • Team player
  • Wear the correct uniform and ensure that company hygiene, health & safety standards and licensing knowledge are adhered to at all times
  • Attend food safety training, product knowledge and customer service skills courses
  • To reinforce company’s health and food safety procedures in the restaurant
